Anupam Kher has been nominated for SAG awards with Silver Linings cast. The David O Russell-directed film has also picked up nominations for lead actor Bradley Cooper, actress Jennifer Lawrence and supporting actor Robert De Niro. Silver Linings Playbook is up against Ben Affleck's Argo, India-set film The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, musical drama Les Miserables and Lincoln in the Outstanding Performance By A Cast In A Motion Picture category.

"As an actor, it is most gratifying to be recognised by one's peers. Hence this nomination is a high point for me, professionally," Kher said in a statement.

The film has bagged four nominations at the 2013 Golden Globes and is being considered as a strong contender at the Oscars.
