Without mentioning Modi, Rahul lashed out at his government for not appointing Lokayukta in the state, stifling the Right to Information (RTI) and Chief Minister Modi indulging in “politics of anger.” He also slammed the BJP on the issue of Sir Creek charging the saffron party of raising issue for “political mileage.” Chief minister Modi continued his tirade against the central government in the Sir Creek saying Gujarat would never allow the creek to be handed over to Pakistan. He also seized upon the controversial remarks made by the visiting Pakistan minister Rehman Malik on Ayodhya issue. “I want to ask the PM, whether any Pakistani minister has right to intervene in India’s internal issues? Pakistan is guilty of Mumbai attack, and instead of answering that, this minister justifies Mumbai event by equating it with Ayodhya. Pakistan dares to speak this way, because the government sitting in Delhi is not strong enough,” he said while addressing a rally in Palanpur, north Gujarat.
