A 15-year-old boy was beaten and stabbed to death allegedly by his five friends — all less than 13 years old — in Palsikar colony, western part of Indore. The accused boys, who have been rounded up, claim he had sexually abused them.

“The boys are from the weaker sections of the society. They said the victim was forcing them into unnatural sex,” said Anil Singh Kushwaha, SP (West).

The victim, a school drop-out, used to live with his grandfather. “He used to regularly abuse one of the boys and had recently started demanding sexual favours from his sister,” said Rajesh Sahay, city SP.

Matters came to a head on Tuesday, when the boys allegedly decided to kill him.

“They baited him with sex and lured him to come to the grounds of a local school. There, the boys first plied the victim with liquor and when he became inebriated, they attacked him with knives and stones,” a police officer said.

The youth died on the spot. His body was found on Wednesday outside the school campus.
