"To hide their own corruption in the 2G case, they have filed a charge-sheet against the NDA regime. We condemn this and will take whatever appropriate steps are required in this regard in the court as the matter is now in the court," BJP chief spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
The BJP leader said the party will prove that this is a "motivated" action on the part of the government and claimed that it will prove this as per law and it will not hold any ground.
BJP asserted that the Atal-government has a lot of contribution to make in bringing about a Telecom revolution in the country and will fight this charge-sheet in court.
Three telecom companies, including Bharti Airtel and Vodafone India, were on Friday chargesheeted by the CBI in connection with alleged irregularities in the allocation of additional spectrum during the NDA regime which had resulted in a loss of Rs. 846 crore to the exchequer.
