"Through Ecofest, Sukrit Trust is hunting for young environmental leaders who will take upon themselves the mighty and challenging task of saving earth's depleting natural resources and curtaining global warming by switching back to spiritual values," said Dr Sarabjit Singh, head of Sukrit.
"It has imperative that we engage youth to take on the task of handling the challenging issues and degrading environment is a common threat facing the entire planet," said Dr. Rajwant Singh, president of EcoSikh.
January 31 is the last date for registration.
Winners of each category will be announced on March 1, but an overall "EcoFest" winner will be announced by EcoSikh on March 14, Sikh Environment Day, the statement said.
