"I want to be the jail minister so that I can prepare a special jail just to house these Congress-NCP leaders," said Munde.
"If small-time robbers or cheats come in contact with these Congress-NCP leaders, they might become spoilt and start committing bigger crimes. I want to distance them from these leaders who have looted the nation's wealth," he said.
Munde added that the irrigation scam would be thoroughly investigated after the BJP comes to power. Munde, who was the star speaker at the event, was repeatedly disrupted by the slew of fireworks set up by the party workers.
Party cadres were busy hailing Munde as the future chief minister of the state. The BJP is looking at bagging power in the state as the current government is besieged by row of scams.
Meanwhile, party leaders including Ram Naik, Jaywantiben Mehta and Kirit Somaiya appealed to the cadres to ensure that the party ensures a win in the 2014 election which they say would be a befitting present to Vajpayee.
