He is seen as a family man, because Hrithik Roshan has always gone all out to make his near and dear ones feel special. Now, come New Year’s Eve, the actor will take his entire family to Bangkok to welcome 2013. Hrithik will spend some days with them in the Thai capital before coming back to India in the first week of January.

“Hrithik will travel (to Bangkok) sometime this weekend. And he will be accompanied by all his family members, including his parents (Rakesh and Pinky Roshan), grandparents (maternal), sister Sunaina, wife Sussanne, uncle Rajesh Roshan and kids (Hrehaan and Hridhaan),” confirms an insider close to the actor. Two years ago, he had brought in the New Year with his family in Dubai.

Apparently, the Agneepath star has been really keen on the New Year trip to Bangkok this year because he couldn’t celebrate it last year with his family. “Last time around, he was recovering from his injury (double slipped discs). Plus, his film Agneepath was on the verge of release in January. So, he couldn’t take out enough time to go on an outing with his family,” adds the insider.

But this year, Hrithik’s family trip is working out just the way he wanted it. “He is very close to his family and loves spending time with them, especially his grandparents. Also, he has spent almost the whole of 2012 wrapping up Krrish 3, so he couldn’t give enough time to his family this year. But now, he wants to be with them on New Year’s Eve, since Krrish 3 is complete now,” adds the insider. We tried to contact Hrithik, but he remained unavailable for a comment.
