In his application before the high court, Chaudhary has stated that according to news reports, the Panchkula police did not have corroborated evidence against him and the whole case was based on suspicion due to some mobile calls stated to be between him and the deceased. He further added that the police had failed to ascertain the motive of his involvement in the case.
He said he was ready to join the investigation and clarify the doubts of the investigating team.
