On the basis of clues and informers’ tips, the police arrested Chinki, her companion Saudan Singh and her accomplice Neha. Police said that Chinki was married to a person in Ujjain. However, she had left him and stayed with Sharma for a long time. Later, she came to Bhopal and had been living with her accomplice, Saudan Singh. Singh didn’t like Chinki’s relations with Sharma. Besides, she had also been planning to get rid of him, said police. Investigators claim that the accused confessed their involvement in the crime.
Police said when Jitendra recently came to Shree Nagar colony to meet Chinki, she gave him sedatives in coffee. Once he fell unconscious, Singh stabbed him with a knife, causing his death. Later, Chinki, with the help of her friend, Neha, a resident of Tulsi Nagar and Rambabu, tried to dispose off body.
They had stuffed the body in the gunnysack but couldn’t dispose it of. In a hurry, the accused escaped. The police had found Jitendra’s vehicle outside Chinki’s house and hence got suspicious and broke into the house to find the body. Subsequently, all the four accused were arrested. The weapon used in crime has been recovered. Jitendra Sharma is survived by a six-yearold son.
