Actor Amit Sadh who plays the role of Omi in his upcoming movie Kai Po Che!, considers himself lucky to be a part of the film. “The story of the film is beautiful and I am lucky that I got to be a part of the film. It’s a big film, the canvas is bigger and as an actor you have to go and give it your best.”

“I play the character of Omkar Shastri a.k.a Omi, who is crazy about his friends and will do anything for them. He also looks up to them for guidance in taking decisions,” he adds.

The actor who began his journey from TV had to struggle before he could make a mark in the film industry. “After Guns and Roses (TV serial) I didn’t get work, I wanted to do movies and I had to wait for five years to get one. I was getting frustrated. In between that I went to New York to study acting so that I could enhance my skills as an actor.”

When asked about his expectations from his work, he says, “I want to do quality work and want to grow as an actor. I expect that when people go and watch me they don’t see Amit Sadh, they see the character that I am performing.”
