Female cops to deal with women's complaints
Taking a lesson from Patiala and Sangrur incidents, the Ludhiana police have deputed female officials in all police stations to deal with the complaints filed by women. The female officials will listen to the complaints of the women and would take appropriate action. In the first phase, two female officials have been deputed in all police stations. Besides, the police would also appoint a female official holding the rank of an ASI to inspector as the zone in charge.
The female officials deputed in the police stations would report to the zone in charge.
