Pakistan T20 captain Hafeez can surely hold his head high for the way his team performed in the two matches, and ODI skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has a lot of positives to carry forward. But few things could have being done better.  Pakistan lost their grip on the second match in the last three overs of India’s innings.

In the 18th and 19th overs, Yuvraj and Dhoni put on 40-odd runs to help India post nearly 200.

While Yuvraj was fantastic, the Pakistan bowlers allowed him to free his arms. You need to cramp such big hitters to keep them quiet.

While chasing, Pakistan looked in command till the sixth over. But for the next five overs, the batsmen, for some reason,  allowed the pace of scoring to fall, after which they never caught up with the asking rate.

The person who could have made a difference was Shahid Afridi. A quick 15-20 from him would have seen Pakistan romp home with ease.

Also, Pakistan need to have a plan for using the tall Irfan. In both the games, he finished his quota of overs early. Had he been available later, he could have thwarted the Indian onslaught.
