The Amritsar police, on Monday, registered two cases of rape. One of the victims is 13 years old.
In her police complaint, one Santi Devi accused a migrant labourer staying in her rented accommodation, Dhoti Yadav, of raping her 13-year-old niece at least five times in the past four months. Yadav has been arrested. Both the accused and the victim's family hail from Bihar.

The medical examination of the minor has been conducted.

Acting on a complaint by a divorcee, the police registered a case of rape against Milan Kapoor.

The police said Kapoor, after promising the woman that he would marry her, developed physical relations with her.
