With the canine population in the city on a rise, the North Delhi Corporation may start an ‘on-the-spot’ sterilisation programme to tackle the menace.
The decision comes in the wake of repeated complaints by the city residents to the area councillors about dog biting. Currently, sterilisation of canines is being done by NGOs who run sterilisation centres.
