This was disclosed during a meeting of the district-level vigilance and monitoring committee held on Thursday at Mini Secretariat. The meeting was presided over by Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjeet Singh. Another watershed project of R86 lakh for Ghamroj village has been sent to the rural development ministry.
The main objectives of the IWMP are to restore the ecological balance by harnessing, conserving and developing degraded natural resources such as soil, vegetative cover and water.
While reviewing the MP Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS), Singh asked the officials concerned to send the utilization certificate of the amount spent and get other works completed expeditiously. Under the scheme, the Gurgaon MP has approved a total of 79 works in the district during the current financial year.
