Furniture goes graphic cool
If you’ve always thought of raising the bar and going beyond the normative, this new-age artwork is sure to catch your attention.
Graphics and their transition on to furniture can transform your house in a matter of meters. “The beauty of indulging in graphics as a medium and a format is that it relates to every age, across the board, and goes beyond only interiors. I have worked on this collection for two years and it has now come to develop an identity of its own,” says Raseel Gujral, who has named this collection Illustratti — A Play Of Graphic Illusion.
Be it animal prints or three-dimensional sculpted pieces, you can pick your favourite for a customised touch to home decor. “From a bar and medicine cabinet to a mandir for the house — you can choose from ten pieces,” informs Raseel. The canvas pieces start at
Rs.
15,000 per square foot, and
Rs.
50,000 onwards — for furniture. The pieces will be on exhibit till Saturday at The Gallery on MG in the Capital.
