Actor Gul Panag, 34, tweeted on Monday night to clarify that she is “alive and kicking” after a website reported that she died in a jet ski crash.

“Alive and kicking I am. Yes. But yes if I had to die it would be something like this. Or a bungee cord snapping (sic),” she posted, after concerned friends started asking about her well-being.

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta tweeted, “all ok? Some rumours doing the rounds? (sic).”

Gul’s spokesperson later said, “Gul is absolutely fine. This is a bizarre prank rumour.”
