Addressing a conference of the party’s state office bearers, Yadav said district party leaders should behave in an orderly manner as the 2014 target could be achieved only by adhering to discipline.
Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, general secretary Ramgopal Yadav, PWD minister Shivpal Singh Yadav and others attended the meeting.
Sources said the party had gathered information from various sources about bickering at the grassroots level. After the distribution of tickets to 68 candidates, the party is flooded with demands for change in a large number of candidates.
There are reports of a tussle among MLAs and LS candidates at the district level hampering the smooth launch of poll campaign.
