During the BSP regime, the authority had approved a Rs. 5,000-crore Metro link between Noida and Greater Noida along the expressway. The 23-km line was to have 22 stations. But that plan never saw the light of the day.
"The plan of running Metro from Kalindi Kunj to Pari Chowk was floated by the Greater Noida authority. But the Noida authority will fund it," said Rai.
According to the official, apart from the new link, the authority officials would discuss the progress of other three proposed Metro expansion projects.
In July last year, the authority had given nod to a 7-km-long Metro line between Sector 71 and Greater Noida West.
The detailed project report (DPR) of this route is being made.
