Flavoured condoms used to be a rage in western countries but are now available at every medical store in India as well. Such condoms intend to give enhanced pleasure during oral sex. Their purpose is the same as any other condom. Just remember that the basic purpose of a condom — flavoured or not, lubricated or not — is to prevent the male semen from coming in contact with the female vaginal tract.

It acts as a barrier method of contraception. It gives protection from unwanted pregnancy and also against sexually transmitted diseases. No contraceptive method is 100 per cent safe. But indulging in intercourse without a condom can be more dangerous.
