Sharma said that he was a defector and a son of a defector, who started defections. "He is getting a taste of his own medicine,'' Sharma said and added that Bishnoi was also 'bhrasht' (corrupt).Bishnoi, who also held a press conference minutes after Sharma's interaction with scribes, in a counter attack termed Sharma as a "mandbudhi" (dimwit).
When asked to comment on the allegations of Sharma, who termed him corrupt and a boaster, Bishnoi said, "It is an insult to even reply to such remarks. By using such terms, he is proving that he himself is a 'mandbudhi' instead."
"Such remarks from a chair like this (that of speaker) was an insult to the very institution," he said.
On Sharma's allegation that Bishnoi himself was a son of defector, he said his father and former chief minister Bhajan Lal was not a defector, as he had felicitated joining of some MPs with Congress supremo Indira Gandhi, well within the law.
