Huawei Ascend MateChinese brand Huawei made an impact with its 6.1-inch Ascend Mate, the biggest smartphone on the market. It features HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels), a 1.5 Ghz quad-core processor, an 8-megapixel camera and a front-facing camera. The device runs on Android Jelly Bean.
Lenovo IdeaPhone K900Lenovo's K900 is also packed with interesting features including a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display. It is 6.9 mm thick and weighs 162g. The phone also features a 13-megapixel camera. The K900 will hit the Chinese market in the spring.
Sony XPeria Z and ZLSony's two new 5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) smartphones are equipped with 1.5GHz quad-core processors, 2GB RAM memory and a 13-megapixel camera. The Xperia Z was presented as fully water-resistant.
ZTE Grand SChinese smartphone maker ZTE also presented a device dubbed Grand S, equipped with a 5-inch full HD (1080p) screen. The device, which features a 1.7GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor with 2 GB RAM, will be released in China before hitting Europe.
Alcatel Scribe HDAlcatel unveiled its new high-end smartphone, the Scribe HD, featuring a 1280 x 720 pixel 5-inch screen. The product boasts a 1.2GHz quad core MediaTek processor with 1 GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera. It is 4G compatible and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The Scribe HD is set for a US-only launch in Q3 2013.
