Actor-model Esha Gupta, 27, says even though acting was not her first choice as she wanted to study law, destiny made her pursue a career in Bollywood. Gupta, was last seen in Raaz 3 and belongs to Delhi, says she was not sure if she would make it in the Hindi film industry when she joined the industry six years ago.

She came into the limelight after ranking third in a beauty pageant in 2007. “I was 19 when I took part in the pageant. Even then I was not sure if I would get a chance in Bollywood. As far as I am concerned I had got a scholarship to study law at the Newcastle University. But you can’t change your destiny. I’m now in Bollywood and was not able to study law,” she says.

However, the actor, who was in the Capital to attend a beauty pageant, is happy to have been received whole heartedly by the industry.
