The Shivaji Nagar police have found four video of the 13-year-old girl who was allegedly raped and victimised by Niyaz Ahmed Hasan, 70.

“There were speculations that the accused had victimised more girls. But we have recovered the memory card that he used and have found four clips of the same girl,” said DM Desai, police inspector, Shivaji Nagar police station.

“We assume that the clips were shot on the same day as the clothes of the victim are the same. The clips were circulated in the area, which raised speculations about other victims,” Desai said, adding that they had not received any more complaints,

Hasan was produced before a local court on Thursday, which extended his police custody up to January 21.

Hundreds of people had gathered outside the court demanding that he be “hanged”.

Layak Alli Hasan Atar, Hasan’s lawyer, said they wanted the case proceedings to be expedited.  “We will send an application to sessions court appealing them to send the case to a fast-track court,” said Atar.

Hasan, a priest at a local mosque, had allegedly raped and performed unnatural sex with the minor girl and also prepared a video of it.

The incident that occurred around a month ago and recently came to light after the victim’s father saw the obscene video.
