Another shocking incident of rape came to light, when a 12-year-old girl was found to be pregnant and later revealed that she was gangraped by three youths in Ludhiana.

The minor, a resident of Shivpuri area, revealed that the accused had raped her a month ago and threatened her not to reveal the incident to anyone.

The matter came to the fore when the girl, a student of standard three, complained of stomach ache and was taken to a doctor.

The doctor revealed that she was pregnant. Her parents immediately filed a complaint with ADCP city-1 Nilambri Jagdale.

A case has been registered against Lal Ji Saroj, Shankar Saroj and Kripa Shankar, and they were immediately arrested.

The accussed, in the age group of 18-20 years have been arrested.

Assistant commissioner of police (central) Ramneesh Chaudhary said, "The police would conduct medical examination of the girl on Saturday to confirm the speculations about her pregnancy."
