John Abraham, who is the lead actor of  I, Me Aur Main, recently came to the rescue when the film's shoot was halted abruptly. Producer Goldie Behl explains, "We were to shoot in a residential complex, but at the last minute, some of the society members raised objections. John offered to let us shoot in the compound where his office is, and even inside the office itself."

For 10 days, the crew shot inside the building, its compound, corridor and at John's office. "Thank God we didn't have to lose those dates looking for another location at the last minute," says Goldie.

Portions of the film that depict an office were shot at John's workplace; a part of the office was even converted into a set to look like a house. Goldie says, "It was like a bachelor pad. In the film, John lives alone in his house while Prachi Desai plays his neighbour. We wanted a space that looked like a house cum office."

According to the producer, the film is dear to John. He says, "It's a sweet movie. John's character in the film is a man-child, and he is a bit like that in real life too, so it's a lot like the real John. That's why he loved the film."
