Punjabi singer Hans Raj Hans, who is also the head of a local Dera, has formed a trust to manage its affairs. According to the registered deed, Hans Raj Hans would be the sole managing trustee of Almast Bapu Lal Badshah Trust and would hold the office for life. The sole trustee will constitute the trust and all trustees will hold office for two years.

The deed adds that the singer is a hereditary trustee with right to nominate his successor by notice of nomination to the trust to take effect either forth with or after his life time or nomination of his successor in his will.

He will act as the chairman of the board meetings and shall have right to co-opt. The total number of trustees, to be known as Sevadars shall not exceed 20. Thirteen members have been registered as trustees.  The deed was registered in the office of Nakodar tehsildar on January 21.
