Indo-Bangla extradition treaty may get go-ahead
In a major move to strengthen the growing security cooperation with its neighbour, the UPA government is set to clear the extradition treaty with Bangladesh at the cabinet meeting on Thursday. The clearance of the pact comes ahead of external affairs minister Salman Khurshid’s proposed visit to Dhaka in mid-February.
