Showing a tough stance, the District Administration on Thursday claimed that it will start registering cases against those who fail to get their colonies regularized under the new policy of the State Government.

Heading a meeting of officials, Amritsar Deputy Commissioner Ravi Bhagat said, "It is made very clear to the official to urge the people to get their colonies and houses regularized under the new policy till October 7. Those failing to get it done will face action."

The DC added in a press release that Administration will also start demolishing the unauthorized structures after October 7.

A team of officials has been deputed to make people aware that what actions they could face if the policy is not followed, he added.
