Taking their singing ability to a new scale, Hargun Kaur and Harmanpreet Kaur will on Friday try to end "Voice of Punjab" season 4 on a high note.

It'll be a proud and unnerving moment for the young ladies to take the grand-finale stage where their musical journey started. They'll be performing here at home for global audience as two of the 40 contestants who made it to final six in the PTC channel musical talent hunt. In the holy city, fans pray for their success.

Harmanpreet Kaur, 20, who has seen the climax of winning "Awaz Punjab Di", has heart in folk singing, yet she proved her versatility on the new platform. "The 'Voice of Punjab' show has given us amazing exposure, which is more than winning. Like every other contestant, I will give my best and leave the rest to God," said the Khalsa College student.

On the show, she won over celebrity judges with the song "Menu Kukh Vich Na Maar Maa (Don't kill me in the womb, o' mother)". Playback singer Master Saleem and music director Sachin Ahuja, who were on the jury, wished to have her voice in their upcoming album. "It was a special moment for me on the show," said Harmanpreet Kaur.

The other young contestant, Hargun Kaur, 17, started singing at a tender age and won accolades at the national and state levels. "Winning or losing does not matter, all I want is to learn," she said. "I will give my best and God is there for the rest." "The day she was born, I named her ghazal," said Ravinder Kaur, Hargun's mother, "never thought she would justify it so well."

University topper and BBK DAV College student Hargun Kaur idolises Lata Mangeshkar, Sunidhi Chauhan, Richa Sharma, and Surinder Kaur. Her most memorable moment on the show: "When I sang 'Madhaniya', received standing ovation, and Mr Sachin, one of the judges, said: 'Rab Kudi Deve Tah Teri Vargi (If the God gives me a daughter, I wish she is like you).' It touched me to the core."
