Crowdspottr is a one-stop source for all those dull moments on a weekend sitting at home. Crowdspottr helps you out when you are confused on where to go on a pleasant Friday evening or night-out with friends on a Saturday, and with whom.
How is Crowdspottr better than Facebook or Foursquare (to showcase events)? Events are showed by their popularity, find popular events of which your friends like or are a part of, an event calendar to keep a note of all upcoming events that you have shown interest in, bookmark your favorite events, and organize your RSVP within the app itself. Basically, the type of things which both Facebook and Foursquare have neglected in their Events section is where Crowdspottr has come in and utilized the same features as an advantage.
Two of the most prominent features are the Boy/Girl ratio tracking, which is possible from the app and Celeb Spotting (coming soon). Look forward to this one to stalk your favorite celebs at their favorite hangouts.
Once you kick start the app it alerts you to login with Facebook credentials and subsequently with Foursquare too. Once the sync is done, it will showcase events being attended by friends sorted by a social group and not by location. You can also search directly for events in your social circles and RSVP to them from the app directly. Events you wish to attend will show up in your profile so you can manage them easily, and can use in situations where you need to find a cool event to take your friends out.
Crowdspottr is developed by a small international team of young geek talents who joined their forces in an exciting 4 week-long digital product development event, in the heart of Europe, Hungary. The event is called Pangalaktik App Campus and was organized by one of Central Europe's funkiest digital agency, Carnation Group. Official Website -
