Pakistan:  Elections in J&K has been a farce with security forces coercing the locals to cast their votes. The sham elections have been rejected by the people of Kashmir as some areas registered  very low polling.    India: Polling to the first phase of elections in J&K has been peaceful. Local residents have defied terrorist threats and voluntarily cast their votes in an apparent rebuff to Pakistan.
