Former investment banker Rasik Chopra's disillusionment with his life led him to the arts, and he turned to comedy, his first love. Family Jewels, a one-hour long stand-up act is essentially Chopra's life story. "I talk about my first job, my first girlfriend, all the embarrassing moments, basically seeking comedy in the miseries of my life," Chopra says. It has been directed by Vivek Mansukhani. Chopra is also the founder of Good One Yaar, a production company for which he has written, directed and acted in several original short films.

Women in poetry
Spanish writer Marifé Santiago and Bengali poet Chaitali Chattopadhyay come together in a dialogue to debate the stature of women in their poetry. They will recite some of their pieces in Spanish and Kannada for the audience. Santiago a poet, philosopher and professor specialises in aesthetics. Her work on the relationship between theatre and philosophy has been widely published and been translated into English, Hebrew, Russian and Bengali Chattopadhyay, a dedicated poet, has won many national awards.
