Celebrating the festive spirit on campus, Gargi College hosted its annual event — Reverie 2013 which saw an array of inter-college competitions including dance, music, theatre, painting and photography. The fest, which was held last week, was attended by students from colleges across the city over a span of three days.

The first day featured competitions such as Jhankaar (folk group dance), Mudra (classical group dance), Nivacana (stage play) and Cursive-iti (choreography). Day two gave music lovers a chance to witness nine shortlisted bands who battled it out for the first spot in Bandwagon — the battle of bands. Also on the itinerary was Aabhaas, the street play competition, where eight teams participated after being shortlisted from 25 entries. The gala affair concluded with the performance of Bollywood singer KK. The crowd could not resist the temptation and were seen tapping their feet on some of his hit tracks such as Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar, Awarapan Banjarapan and Yaaron Dosti among others.
