Don’t want to watch the most pointless game — Germany versus Uruguay for third place — of the World Cup? Like listening to alternative indie music? If the answer is ‘yes’ to both, then Nasty Peach’s gig tonight may be just up your street.

The three-year-old soul rock band is on its maiden tour of India and will conclude that tour this evening after playing in six other cities. The band has described its India tour as “a great experience so far”.

Starting at 8pm and closing at 1 am at Q’BA, be entertained by vocalists Odelia Shmulewitz, Darya Aloufy and Omer Tessel, guitarist Ben Krispin, bassist Jonathan Loewenthal, keyboard player Tal Bruchstein, percussionist Yony Kory, trumpeteer Arad Yeini and saxophonist Gal Dahan. Their sound can be enjoyed with draught beer for Rs 250 and bottled beers starting at Rs 350 at this bar on Malcha Marg. Before attending the show, if you want to check them out, go to www.myspace.com/nastypeachmusic.
