Highlight Story

Scintillating dance performances and thought-provoking themes marked Tarang 2012 - the annual cultural fest of Lady Shri Ram College for Women.

The three day fest saw events such as Battle of the Bands, which saw participation by rock bands like Soul’d Out, Jokes Apart and Incredible Mind Funk. Also, there were other fun activities like western singing, dance, pottery, photography and a DJ night. But the highlight of the fest was Izraz - a choreography competition that had the unique theme of Rabindranath Tagore and his works.

The fest also featured Nukkad - a street play competition that saw students present various social issues theatrically.

The revelry continued at side events such as a photography exhibition and rangoli-making. The gala concluded on a rocking note with the DJ night, which saw the crowd dancing to some popular Bollywood numbers.
