Renowned artist Manu Parekh is set to unveil his solo show. It will be exhibiting some of his best paintings, which he developed between 2004-2009.

Renowned artist Manu Parekh is set to unveil his solo show. It will be exhibiting some of his best paintings, which he developed between 2004-2009.

The exhibition will commence on October 26, at the Tao Art Gallery, and is titled The Pursuit Of Intensity.

Ranjit Hoskote who curates the show, describes Parekh’s works as “a festival of thrumming organic forms punctuated by powerful images of explosion”.

Parekh’s show is a part of the endeavour by Foundation B&G to bring to viewers quality art.

Also, for the first time, there will be a screening of a film on the Padmashree artist by National Award winning director Satyajit Bhatkal, which is part of the effort to create a documentation in various formats on artists of significance. Manu Parekh goes solo
