Originally a novel and a play, the romantic comedy tells the story of a young couple who operate under a masquerade, portraying what they are not. With time love develops and becomes strong and slowly the masks fall.
The play is directed by Divya Arora and the cast includes Tom Alter, RJ and VJ Mantra and Divya Arora. It is the longest running play of ICCR, since it premiered in 2005. “The play has travelled to many countries and has had a change in the cast too. This new version has been modified,” says Mantra. The modification, he explains, is in the introduction of a homosexual character. “A love triangle is created without even introducing another girl, both fighting for the prince,” explains Mantra.
The play will be have more shows in the city again in November.
