Life Trust, an NGO working in the education space, will organise a School Chalo rally on June 5.

Life Trust, an NGO working in the education space, will organise a School Chalo rally on June 5. Therally will look to create awareness about education, encourage children to join school and create excitement and enthusiasm amongst children about attending school.

The aim of the rally is to increase awareness and enrollment in schools amongst children from economically backward sections of society.

This year, the rallywill be particularly significant as it will look to provide impetus to the Central Government’s recently implemented Right to Education (RTE) Act.

More than 2,500 participants including teachers, Anganwadi helpers, Integrated Child Development Scheme supervisors, students and parents will be a part of this initiative.

Date: Saturday, June 5
Time: 10.30 am to 1 pm
Route: Rally flags off from Antop Hill Church, and will pass through Vijaynagar, Motilal Nagar, Bharni Naka, Sangam Nagar and end at Wadala Police Station.
