Bored of lifeless statues in the name of art? Travel to Florida to get a glimpse of 18 interactive sculptures, part of the ongoing 16th annual Sculpture Key West exhibition. The open-air exhibition spotlights the talent of international, national and local sculptors on the subtropical island, known for its lively arts community.
Among the other highlights are a 10-foot winged Italian coffee pot created by a sculptor from Naples, Italy, a pixelated stainless steel ‘Square Wave’ that thrives on ambient colour and reflection, a calypso music sound installation, a breathing rock and a 15-foot-tall palm-tree pencil. The exhibition ends on April 15.
