AAMAD Academy


Founded by danseuse Rani Khanam, AAMAD offers a chance to learn kathak with performing and choreography in mind. They’re also given theoretical training in Natya Shastra, world history of dance, music aesthetics, history of choreography, stage and lighting techniques. There’s a special course held in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations for foreign students. Fees ranges between R900 to 1,000 per month.
