BJP, JD (U) conspiring against RJD: Lalu
ANI | February 25 , 2014
RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Tuesday alleged that the Janata Dal (United) and the Bharatiya Janata Party are conspiring to split his party. Baffled ahead of Lok Sabha elections, Lalu said that what Nitish Kumar has done is similar to America's Watergate scandal. RJD Chief has called for an emergency meeting of his party leaders and is expected to meet all the 13 MLAs. On Monday, 13 of Lalu's 22 Bihar legislators announced that they had split away from the Rashtriya Janata Dal. They met Bihar Assembly Speaker Uday Narain Choudhary and sought to be recognized as a separate group; the Speaker immediately declared them "unattached" from the RJD. However, within an hour six of the prodigals were back in the RJD.
