I&B ministry celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema

Information & broadcasting minister Manish Tewari, who inaugurated a six-day-long film festival, marking the 100 years of Indian cinema, said that if there is something that truly epitomizes the diverse and unique cultural ethos of this country then it is definitely the ‘Indian Cinema’. Cine celebrities like Ramesh Sippy, Vishal Bhardwaj from Bollywood and Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rana Daggubati from south and Veteran Oriya cinematographer-filmmaker Apurba Kishore Bir and many others graced the event.
