A senior NCP leader Abdul Qadeer Maulana’s teenaged son was detained after his SUV crushed two minor girls, aged two and three, and their uncle, killing the youngest one on the spot in Aurangabad on Tuesday. The car then hit another two-wheeler before ramming into a shop. The police stated that the NCP leader’s son was driving the SUV when the accident took place. The CCTV cameras that were recently installed at the TV centre square captured the accident on Tuesday morning. Maulana is the state vice-president of the NCP.
