Congress Leaders want Rahul Gandhi to take frontal role

Leaders of Congress said that they want party General Secretary, Rahul Gandhi to take up a frontal role as they prepare for the forthcoming national elections in 2014. The party is holding a brain storming session in Jaipur, to set the party’s political and economic agenda for the future challenges ahead of the general elections. Another Congress leader, B K Hariprasad said any such decision would be taken by party president Sonia Gandhi. Meanwhile, talking about the meeting, Hariprasad said that the "'Chintan Shivir'" would review economic and political situation and discuss schemes for urban and rural areas.
