Senior police officers on Friday paid homage to their five colleagues, killed by Maoists, in Gumla District of Jharkhand. The rebels had set up an ambush of a police car in Gumla forest region. Three officers died soon after the gun attack, while the other two succumbed to their injuries later in the hospital. The senior officers laid wreaths on the bodies and saluted their deceased colleagues. Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar said they would give a befitting reply to ultras.
