Even as Gujarat goes to polls in the second phase tomorrow, Congress has slammed Chief Minister, and key BJP candidate, Narendra Modi for raising issues, which deviate from the development issues of the state.

President of the Gujarat state unit of Congress, alleged that Modi was not fighting an issue-based election. Congress leader Shankar Singh Vaghela, said that BJP had no issues to discuss, adding that his own party had charted out a 12-point strategy to contest the polls. Meanwhile, senior BJP Leader, Arun Jaitley said that the satisfaction and comfort level of the people with Narendra Modi and the BJP government was most evident.

<P>In a bizarre sight, two jawans of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) exchanged rounds of lathis with each other at a place where Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav was addressing a meeting. The two jawans, head constable Mukul Chandra Yadav and constable Sunil Dikshit were caught on camera chasing each other on a sidewalk and even on the road and clashing. One of them sustained head injuries and was seen bleeding profusely.</P>
