100 years of Aston Martin
Debuting at the New York Motor Show, the DB2 was a victim of its own success and Aston Martin was not able to build enough cars to meet the demand. This demand heightened thanks to its success at Le Mans and in all 411 examples were built over its three-year lifespan. It was followed by the DB2/4 in 1953, the DB2/4 MkII in 1955, the DB Mark III in 1957 and the Italian-styled 3.7 L DB4 in 1958. Photo:AFP
