Conceived as a hardcore racing version of the incredibly beautiful DB9, the DBS and convertible DBS Volante were more than adequate replacements for the outgoing Vanquish as flagship models. The most powerful Aston ever built, both versions boasted a six-speed manual transmission, a 5.9-litre V12 engine capable of 190mph and a 0-60mph time of 4.3 seconds. The hardtop version was also James Bond's car of choice in 'Casino Royale' and 'Quantum of Solace.' Photo:AFP
