Does Yamaha plan to launch the YZF-R6 in India? What grade of fuel does this bike run on — regular or 97 octane? What is its fuel economy?
Akash Purohit
At present, Yamaha does not have any plans to bring the YZF-R6 to India. Models like the YZF-R6 run high-compression engines that perform best at high revs, and work well with high octane fuels. While we haven’t tested this bike yet, you can expect it to deliver fuel economy in the 20-25 kpl range.

I am keen on purchasing a small car. I have seen the Chevrolet Spark, which seems to be good. What is your opinion about this hatchback?
Kiran G S
The Spark is excellent value for money and is a pretty reliable car that has competitive spare parts pricing and maintenance costs. Also, you can avail of Chevrolet’s special maintenance packages, which will give you peace of mind.

Following corporate editions from Mercedes Benz and BMW, does Audi plan to launch the corporate edition of its A4? Will the face-lifted 3-Series be available in India in 2011 following its launch in Europe?
Charan Dev
There are no plans from Audi to bring out a corporate or entry-level edition of the A4. Audi doesn’t seem too keen to enter a price war with either Mercedes or BMW and is hence staying away from offering keenly priced versions of its models to entice buyers. Face-lifts from BMW usually come to India within months of their international launch. However, we are not sure if there is a major face-lift due in 2011, especially since the all-new 3-Series is expected in 2012-13.
